Today marks the end of the Sapphire Princess season cruising Australia/New Zealand.

It leaves Sydney tonight at 9pm local time. Until then you can view the ship from many webcams on this fine day in Sydney.

haha i saw her today just before driving over the harbour bridge....crap, didnt realise it was the last time this season.

and one more from tonight -

also in a press release today - (it may have been announced earlier?) but the sapphire princess will return to australia in 2006/7 after the diamond princess cruises here in 2005/6

My wife and I just returned from the previous cruise on Sapphire Princess, ending in Auckland. I just "reviewed" it, also. Princess has come a long way, in my opinion, so much so that we have booked Tahitian Princess for next year.
Sydney is definitely the most liveable city that we've ever visited.
Pam, we seem to write at the same times. You were on Constellation a couple of years ago, when we were on also, in northern Europe.

there was actually an interesting shot on the news last night of the danish crown prince and princess walking on the forecourt of the opera house...with Sapphire in the background.
