I found this photo on the internet, the photo is made is Newcastle (united kingdom) it is a (cruise)ferry, but what is her name, or does any one has a better picture

she is an ex ferry. she is now called the tuxedo princess and is used as a nightclub. she was built as the caledonian princess in 1961. in 1982 she was sold to the quadrini group for use as a nightclub. she has at some point been a nightclub in scotland but has since moved back to newcastle.

Nice little one that I overlooked when visiting Newcastle.
A definite stop for the Maritime enthusiast as it holds the cradle of turbine steamers : Turbinia.
Tynemouth is a very busy ferryport and watching the ships enter the North Sea wilst enjoying a fresh Fish&Ships will be unforgettable!
Now, other interesting ferries stilllies around the UK.
A welsh creek has her sistership?

The Caledonian Princess was unique - no sisters. The ship in the Wlesh Creek is onf of the old Duke Class steamers of 50/60s vintage. I believe they were used from Heysham to Belfast.
There is another vessel similar age preserved somewhere on the East Coast, I think the former Dover (although it could be her sister Holyhead Ferry 1 - its not just the new names that are uninventive).
There is a preservation effort underway for the old Manxman steamer, and the MV Southsea - Isle of Wights first diesel ferry I think, although as with all preservation efforts, they are somewhat difficult.

If you look closely you'll see that the vessel in the picture isn't the old Caledonian Princess but the old Dover or her sister the Holyhead Ferry 1. Look at the size and number of the bridge front windows for a start compared to those on the link to the pictures of the Tuxedo Princess. Also the superstructure front is different, the Caledonian Princess has a distinct small extension of her lowest deck forward which this vessel doesn't have.

Have done some checking, it is the old Dover under the name Tuxedo Royale, which has also spent time at Newcastle as a floating night club.
