Czechmate has come across the website of Euran Global Culture Networks, where they are showing the pictures used in the cabins of Opera, together with some photos from her inauguration at the 'Chipyard'

Still not found any of her christening.

The shots of LIRICA on that site are just gorgeous. Such high quality photos.

The old MSC logo was so much better than the new one.

Yes, the Lirica page is here. I specifically like their photo of I Pirati [kids club], it really is very well done, the children love ittoo. I do not like a couple of the cabin pics very much, thankfully I did not have this one, reserved for the suites!

Hi Pam
Apart from the artwork I am very intrigued at the description on the msccruise website for the Opera suite accommodation. Very different to those on Lirica yet the deck plans seem to show only the same areas and number of cabins. That is on Deck 12!! Deck 10 shows big changes with the introduction of inside cabins where there were none before.

Here are the descriptions of the suites on Lirica, Armonia & Opera, from the MSC website... can you tell which ship is which?;

"Suite with Balcony:
The Suites feature a bedroom with a king-size bed, oversize whirlpool bath & shower & additional shower stall. Complete with a living room, dining room, dressing room, private verandah, sofa bed, VCR, refrigerator, floor-to-ceiling windows. Category 11"

Czechmate's 'Suite' on Lirica can be viewed here. I don't think it quite equates to the description above. Deck 10 balcony cabins seem far smaller on Opera, but are a category lower than on Lirica, perhaps the Deck 12's are far better? Seems no-one who has sailed Opera has posted any photos anywhere yet. Nor of Armonia.

Hi Pam:
I will be sailing on the Opera in October and hope to submit a revue and some pictures of the ship then. No doubt we'll see some before then.
The itinerary is the same as your Lirica cruise.
Your pictures of that are marvellous.
