Must be so easy that no one bothers to answer.

That's my story, anyway, and I am sticking to it.

Must be Landlocked Cruiser, or people are fed up with quizzes and can't be bothered. Rather a distinctive bow area and she has been mentioned on CT in recent weeks.

For a start I'd say she's one of the Scandihoovian type ferry vessels. Not built as a cruiseship.

First of all let me say that I LOVE the quizzed and trivia questions! I look forward to them.

As for this pic, it has had me searching for a while now. I have looked at as many bow pics as I could find. Though none were a perfect match, I came up with my first guess. The two ladders and the second railing were what I was looking for and the closest I got was the Nordic Empress. They both have the ladders and upper walkway. Though the pics I looked at were from different angles and distances, I found enough similarities to feel pretty good about my guess.

Does the winner get a pack of Fizzies, Pam?

Keep the Quizzes and Trivia coming! We love it!

A cruise ship, not ferry, nor Scandinavian. Not Nordic Empress, but there is a connection there.
Those Fizzies never turned up

Michael:

I too thought of Nordic Empress...but her foc'sle, if I remember correctly, is painted an off-white, almost cream color....

My guess is Song Of America

linerguy, Pam's clues would seem to rule out Song of America, as she was Scandinavian by build and by flag.

(S of A, that is, not Pam!)

Anyway, the clues are driving me nuts, especially the connection to Nordic Empress.

The connection Landlocked Cruiser, it that they were both built at the same yard. But one is a bit older and larger.. not saying which.
Pam ... She never sailed under the name she was originally to have been

Rob, I have posted pics of tiny parts of ships, thinking no-one would ever get them, only to find the correct answer is given within a minute or so. This one I only posted as a light hearted break 'cos I was going through some old photos, and she'd been talked about recently here.
I will put up another part of her later if no-one guesses.

I think that it is the Ocean Village. Built in at Chantiers like the Nordic Empress, and never sailed under her original name of FairMajesty. Am I right?

Congrats Thad! Photo taken when she was Arcadia. Here's a full view of her bow area, quite disinctive.
