For those of you interested, I have uploaded a comprehensive 9-page cruise review with almost 100 photos of my recent Mediterranean cruise on Oceania Cruises' REGATTA (the former R2)
The review features interior photos, a sample dinner menu , destination photos and daily programs and should paint a picture of what life on board Regatta is all about.
Photos and review are now online at Passenger Ship Parade. If you have visited my site recently, you might want to reload the index page to get the latest version.
I hope you enjoy it all!Bart

ps - did you happen to notice the exhaust pipe (??) located in the upper left hand corner of the pool area photo? I wonder what it is for, and if it was added by Oceania?

Looks like Oceania painted theirs white to blend a little bit better. I've never seen this by the pool on any other ship I have traveled, and as you can imagine I notice a lot of small details.
Could it be an emergency generator of sorts? Notice the large square metal area next to the pipe. Looks like a vent with metal flaps that would open should the machinery start up. Strange place for it if so.
Best,Ernie

I don't think that is the type of exhaust pipe that would be used for bathrooms or a fitness center. This one looks like it would handle smoke and fumes from a generator.
