The investigation is taking a long time because of the conditions in the engine room - no ventilation, they have to wear hazmat suits due to asbestos, and the place if fairly well torn up.
Even if the investigation is completed this week, the ship will need to be moved to a shipyard for repairs and that will take weeks rather than days. Remember there is structural damage which will take some time to repair.
My guess is sometime in August at the earliest.
