I was permitted aboard Sea Princess (now Adonia) to see the differences between her and Dawn Princess. The ships are virtually identical- the only difference I saw was the colors used in some rooms. Even the carpet patterns and furnature are the same.
As far as external appearance. I've never liked the funnel design of these ships... it is difficult to clearly see the Sea Witch logo on the slatted funnel, and painted yellow it just looks dirty from a distance. I would have preferred it if P&O had either given them a new funnel (like Aurora and Oriana) of if they had put on solid sides to the existing shape.
