Does anyone know if the Coral Princess will come directly to Fort Lauderdale? If so, when should she arrive. I was supposed to sail on her on 12/14, but have changed to Zuiderdam. I am hoping that I will get to see Coral Princess while I am in Fort Lauderdale.

Thanks

Seatrial,When you get back from Zuiderdam she probably will be waiting in Ft Lauderdale since I doubt Princess will send her anywhere else so she should be in Ft. Lauderdale when you arrive back from Zuiderdam since she will be leaving the 24th.

In the new picture the Coral Princess' left tube on the funnel looks like theres a fan or propeller thing inside. It looked like I saw 2 blades. The one I'm talking about is to the right when you look at the picture.Even though I thought that the tubes were for decoration,in the design not some rocket, even though it might be cool to see smoke come out of them.

Brest is a town on north of Saint-Nazaire.
The town have many dry-dock because all french navy ships are built here.

Seven Seas Mariner was also finish at Brest there are 2 years.

Today, there are at Chantiers de l'Atlantique afloat : Island Princess, MSC Lirica, Crystal Serenity.

Captain Rohne,

You might be interested in checking out our Shipyards page. We have links to all of the major shipyards that are building cruise ships and they often have updated information and photo's of the ships.

Yes, during the last sea trial we had some problems on board. The ship will leave Saint-Nazaire the 4th for Brest and is due back the 8th (will dock at a Container pier beyond the bridge). She should leave France the 11th or the 12th and she may stop in Nassau before going to Fort Lauderdale (she should be there by the 22nd or 23rd).

Ryndam,Were you on the ship during the trials? If so when did the trials start?Do you know about what day she will be done, since she had a little work left in the new picture that I saw the other day.How long were you there?Did you get pictures? What was she like?I heard that she is equipped with noise reduction devices or something to respect the underwater life.Is she in a drydock still?I want to go see her for at least a day in France or at Ft. Lauderdale but I can't go to either. It's a cool ship too.Now I have alot of questions don't I? I think I do but I might have more later.

Yes, I was on board during the last sea trial and I'll be on board during the next one. The "hotel" part of the ship is completed and the delivery dqte depends on the results of the next tests. The interior of the ship are very nice, the best Princess ship I've ever seen (but I've never been on a Grand class vessel). Unfortunately I haven't got any picture. I haven't heqrd anything about noise reduction engines.

I was thinking about the Coral Princess' delivery and I was thinking if the Carnival Conquest was Delivered on Oct 25 and left the yard the 27 that might mean that if Coral Princess gets delivered tomorrow Dec 9 then maybe she will leave France on Dec 11.Then arrive at Ft. Lauderdale on Dec 22 or 23.Any other ideas? That just came to my mind this morning. All I know is I'm waiting for this one website to get updated today about Coral Princess getting back to France.Hopefully the site will be updated, like everyday like when Coral was leaving France Dec 4 and all of that. The site to the latest picture of Coral Princess.
