It looks like the Norway hasn't turned out to be as popular as everyone thought. NCL was forced to cancel the cruises to nowhere due to lack of interest.

Her first two 7 night sailings are sell outs (X-mas & New years) but the rest of the year looks rather dismal.

Sail her now, while you have the chance!

The French Travel Companies offer to buy the SS Norway must be looking pretty attractive to NCL?

It really doesn't surprise me in the least. Even the "modern" gals have plenty of availability on the same dates at competitive pricing.

NCL have put up a release elsewhere that refers to the Norway operating from Miami until April 2003

Time to start saving again??????

One 'Final Transatlantic' is enough for me! NCL are not going to trick me again!

My advice is if you are truely interested in the history of Ocean Liners, DO a cruise on her, if only once!

If you are not interested in maritime history, there are better ships available!

(Who is the current captain of the Norway? The present guy was meant to leave for another NCL ship at the end of the final Trans. Did he?)

Never did the Norway but we are doing it January 27. Have heard mixed reviews about her but just have to do it once.
If my information (from TA and Uniglobe)is correct, she is sold out completely until January 27 and there are only 3 available catagories available then (2 of which are the 2 highest catagories of suites).
