Great Picture Joe!

That's the perfect angle, but it would be better to see the ship at sea. This one will do for now though....thanks!

I wonder if I shpould contact the shipbuilder, because they always seem to make kind of like trading cards for the ships they've built..large glossy 8.5 x 11 size prints with the ship's info on the back. Are you familiar with what I'm talking about? I have a couple of those photos from ships like the Westerdam after the stretch, the Homeric, the Horizon.

Hi Joe, where have you been lately? Working maybe? Counting your money, maybe?

Anyway, you have been very quiet, since your vacation, CruiseTalk wise, whatever you have been doing?

Malcolm,

Yeah, I have been a bit busy with work lately - that would be working on the software behind TravelPage.com. Anyone interested in learning more about the software can check out our sister site at www.travelserver.net

Barry,

Here's another photo at sea - Carnival Spirit- without any of those annoying buildings.

Have you seen pictures of the inside. I have and I think its the ugliest ship inside that I have ever had the misfortune to look at.

Software? I thought that it was all done with smoke and mirrors?

Joe, I have long suspected that us CruiseTalkers are your human guinea pigs, your software de-bugging team?

We are all still waiting for our salaries?

eroller....Wow..Great shots...Thanks!

By the way, so many people are bad-mouthing the interiors of the Carnival Spirit....Are you all being a bit critical? Shouldn't there be some creative license? I think, from what I have seen so far that the interiors look very ornate.

32 more days till I'm aboard her and at this point I could care less what the interior looks like!!

Come on people...haven't you ever looked so forward to a cruise (vacation) that after a while, you didn't care what the surroundings looked like??

This may only be my second cruise in my entire life, but I've read, researched and asked enough questions to take a few hundred cruises.....that I feel as though I've been on close to that many. I have just one question.....

Why are so many of you people soooo hung up on what the interior of all these ships looks like?? why do you care?? Of course....The cruise lines go so overboard with interior designs on purpose, just to start forums like this??

I believe I responded to a post like this on this very web site a while ago with something to the effect of...."if they painted my ass purple and made me take home the most hideous atrium painting as a parting gift, I wouldn't care!! As long as I was on the cruise I wanted and having the time of my life!!!

How often are you observing the interior of your ship? Get a deck chair and get up by the pool....you fool!!

In 32 more days...I'll be on the way to Hawaii and all the rest of you will be here. I'll send everyone a postcard and let them know what the interior of the Spirit looks like!!! I know I won't care!!

Far too many for my liking, Joe!

billybob - "Get a deck chair and get up by the pool....you fool!!" - that's about all you could do with that many deck chairs - hopefully not too many want to cool off at the same time!

Enjoy your cruise billybob - and write a 'tell all' review on your return.

Joe, what was the count?

Thank you Billybob, for your remarks on the Carnival Spirit, I'm like you I will be thinking of all these people, while we are on our 12 day cruise to Hawaii, and they are sitting home punching their computers. I'm like you counting the days.
