I am booked on the Westerdam, and was wondering if anyone has any pictures or a website of the Westerdam BEFORE it was "Stretched" when it sailed as Home Cruise Lines Homeric.
I was just kinda curious what it use to look like.

Yes, I do, but my husband, daughter & I are in front of the ship - taken in Jamaica when we got off the ship.
The only difference in the outer appearance is that the new section was inserted in the middle with the addition of a restaurant on the Lido deck and the ship just looks longer and bigger.
I am sorry, I have no way of sending this to you via the internet. Green's husband might have a copy that he could scan and send to you - hopefully she will see this post.

Thanks AJL - I think that is what CruiseMaster wanted to see - the ship in it's Homeric colours. Any pictures Green or I may have are of the ship in it's HAL colours.
My husband, daughter and I were on HAL's Inaugural of the Westerdam in November '88 and we had a great time even though theree were things missing that HAL ships have - like self-serve laundry room. There was not enough room to feed all the paxs in the dining room or Lido so we had to eat, buffet style in a beautiful room which is now the balcony of the Admiral Lounge. The one great thing was the retractable dome over the pool, which until the Statendam came along, HAL ships did not have.
