skyej..Thanks so much for the photo! I have been looking for an actual photo of the Radiance. I just booked a three night , Pacific Northwest on the Radiance of the Seas today, for September! We got a great group rate on a veranda E-3 or better cabin. Can't wait to see her!

Wow...they must be breeding!

Mercy, I think that it is only a matter of time until all cabins have verandas. I think that the inside cabin will die a death, just like the cabins without bathrooms.

Mind you, some of the RCI inside cabins have windows of course!

Malcolm.. we just spent a week in a veranda cabin on the Millennium. There is just nothing better! It adds so much to your whole cruise experience. Which puts me in mind of your famous post "Best Place to have Sex on a Cruise Ship", for some reason

Malcolm: Just a thought, but what do you suppose the shipping companies will do with the space currently occupied with inside cabins? Ships are getting wider, the post panamx size cruise ship is common now, so there is space that in all probblility has no other use than revenue producing inside cabins. The revenue from those inside cabins, does help spread the cost of operation over a greater number of passengers. Why would they companies not utilize the space, and thus generate revenue? Inside cabins do sell, so there is a demand.

Great Pictures, My Travel agent just booked two of my friends aboard her in April. She will be sailing from Miami soon. Got a great deal, outside cabins and a balcony cabin on her first week of sailing. The ship doesn't go to any islands only out to sea, since she is arriving ahead of schedule. The ribbon cutting and working out the bugs before real 7 day cruises. Price for cabin with $42 port tax is $250 for outside and $350 for balcony cabin, cheaper than a hotel. The cruise I think already sold out tonight as I am told.
Special events I am sure are also planned with plenty of media coverage. It is nice to be living in Miami, the cruise capital of the world and all the main offices. I certainly will be there taking pictures of her on her departure day.
Alan
