Hello All,
Could I have some opinions on the Ocean Breeze from people who have sailed on her? Mark H. Goldberg has a scathing report of her on another page of this site. He seems a little over zealous in his opinions, and just wondered what the consensus was. I sailed in her former sister Northern Star when I was young, and fancied a trip in her to bring back some memories. Can anyone assist? Thanks.

What is the Ocveanbreeze doing now? Last I knew she was the Ocean Majesty or something like that doing Bahama duty out of Ft. Lauderdale. Then somebody said they saw her in Italy? We had a blast on this ship in 1987 when it was part of Dolphin Cruise Lines. Premeir should have left well enough alone!

The OCEANBREEZE became the IMPERIAL MAJESTY. It was chartered to Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines on a leasing basis.
I guess that together with Premier´s bankrupty, also this ship was arrested somewhere.

I heard, the Imperial Majesty has been bought by Imperial Majesty cruises just weeks ago. So she is supposed to be in service still, despite the bankruptcy of Premier.

Yes, the Ocean Breeze was purchased outright and became Imperial Majesty prior to the demise of Premier.

Thanks Norman, I'll keep my eyes open for more news. Sounds like that as far as Premier goes, this ship is 'the one that got away'.

I'm glad she's "The One That Got Away". At first I was sorry to see her go because there's probably nochance for us to sail on her again(cause I'm no fan of the Bahamas). But now I'm glad cause this is better than her being laid upsomewhere. Does anybody know if her name was really changed or is she still Oceanbreeze. Anybody have a recent pic ofher? Hey Norman, thanks for all the info!

Hi Geno-R, guess I've been looking under the wrong post, I put up a "Where are you?". Good to see your posts. Yes, Ocean Breeze is still out there. It is suppose to be back
after a bit of refurbishing. I would like to go on it too.

I dont think you will see Regal Empress going anywhere much before 2010 as she is well equipped to sail til then and I believe she will! However I wonder if Imperial Majesty will add a second ship to sail opposite the Regal Empress, I know they we're talking about it for quite sometime a while ago! It would be nice to see a ship sailing out of Ft.Laudrdale everyday instead of every second day...they're sure is the demand for it and Im surprised Imperial Majesty has not expanded much beyond their Ft.Lauderdale base...I think they could do well on other two night cruises too!
