Has anyone heard anything regarding Silversea's new ship Silver Shadow.
We were sailing on Millenuim NOv 26th and Im sure its history now taht it was cancelled. We booked Grand Princess for the same sailing date.
We were so disappointed that we treated ourselves to the Transatlantic itinerary on Silver Shadow on Sept 24th,Lisbon to New York calling at Cadiz,Madeira,Ponta Delgada,Hamilton Bermuda and New York.
We are very excited but have never sailed Silversea before.
Any information on this ship or comments would be welcomed

I hope you are good sailors.....it is too
small a ship for a crossing in my opinion.
That being said, I think you will have a
very fine cruising experience. I have
friends who have sailed with Silversea
a couple of times and always report a fine
cruise.

I read on another board that Silversea has had the Shadow turned over to them, with minor final fittings to be completed this week so all is actually ahead of schedule. "Bon Voyage," he said, jealously...
