Planning Holy Land Cruist/Tour. Never cruise the Med. or flown to Europe. Any
info is helpful.

Hi Balcony, we cruised the Med on Costa riviera in 1996, costa arranged our flights, flew out of Newark NJ on Continental to Rome for a flt. to Venice(where we were sailing from) missed all our connections due to delay for weather in NJ but the airport manager in Rome got us on a flt. to Milan and then a bus to Venice, made the ship with 15 mins. to spare!! after such a harrowing experience we settled in for the cruise. Our ports were : Bari(IT) Corfu(Greece) Crete(greece)Kitheria(Greece) Piraes--for Athens and the Isole Tremeti Islands(Italy). What specific questions do you have , is it about Costa or what? I`ll answer any thing I can.......jean

Bless U. My group will all fly from USA and let Costa book flights. Don't want to risk the chance of missing the ship.
We too, will be departing from Genoa - then on to Naples, Catania,Italy; Egypt; Israel; Cyprus; and Greece. plus 2 post nights/Rome
How was the food? Service? Activities for children (not mine!). Is it worth buying a shore tix for Kithera? Entertainment?

Just give me the good - bad and ugly. I'm excited but want to know what I MIGHT expect. I'm coordinating a group of approx. 100 passengers to go with me.
