We had a great time. Our expectations were high following a year of anticipation. The HAL staff exceeded our expectations completely. I have made a little website that has my review and some photos. Great photos, Bert. What kind of a camera did you use? Looks and sounds like you had a super time. Am so glad, as you both waited so long for this trip.

Sympatico, I used a Canon sure shot z115. It is a nice little 35mm camera with a zoom lens. There are lots of other good similar cameras out there. I scanned the photos that we had developed. Actually, I think many of the photos on my websight are too dark because I did not scan them in well.

I tip to folks trying to take pictures in the Caribbean -- be careful about your lens fogging up. If your camera is with you in the airconditioning for several hours it cools down enough that when you take it outside into the humid air, condensation forms on the lens and your pictures will be blurry, if even recognizeable. The only cure I know is to wait many minutes with your camera outside so it can warm up to the outside air temperature. None of this damages the camera, it is simply annoying.

Thank you for the pictures, I will be sailing the Zaandam in April to the Panama Canal and after seeing the photos I am more excited than ever!
