Isn't it frustrating when you are in dire need of information about a certain cruise or ports of call and no-one responds.

Feeling compassionate but unable to help.

People might be more responsive in the Ports of Call forum.

Maybe no one on this forum has been on either of these ships. I am sure if they had been they would have answered your question.

I too was on Vision of the Seas in '98, May to be exact...Voyage #2. We went on the seven day which is exactly the same as Legend's current seven day trip depending on which week you go since the intinerary alternates every other week. We had a great time. We spent a week on our own in London and Barcelona before meeting the ship. I was feeling homesick for the states and then we boarded the ship. Like Malcolm says it's a slice of America in the middle of the Meditteranean. If you want a more European experience I would go with the Mistral or Costa Cruises. I read on cruise news that RCI is expanding it's presence in Europe by adding the Splendour of the Seas in the Meditteranean with veteran Legend of the Seas.

My favorite port was Civitavecchia (Rome) but seeing Rome in under seven hours doesn't do this great city justice.

If you have a specific question about a port or RCI in the Med. let me know I'll do my best to answer.
