Just returned today from the Pacific's inaugural Bermuda cruise from NYC.
The ship is wonderful: small, intimate, full of character, beautifully maintained, a wonderful crew, top notch food and service.
My mini-suite on the Promenade Deck was extremely spacious and comfortable; complete with a HUGE bathroom with a tub that could easily fit two!
She's an excellent seaboat and handled the sometimes dicey Atlantic passage with ease.
Hats off to PCLA, while the Pacific may be approaching 30 years old; she compares favorably with the bigger and newer Celebrity and RCI ships.
Best,

Good to hear your trip on Pacific Princesswas a good one. I did the same cruise afew times when she was Sea Venture and weloved her. On one cruise we took a suite onboat deck and it was great.....as I rememberthe suites were flexible and could be madelarger or smaller by opening and closingconnecting doors.....cuisine was very goodtoo when Flagship Cruises had her. Thanks for your imput.
PP will return to Bermuda in 2001 and has been comitted to this market for three out of Princess's ten year contract.
Whether she returns for more than three years will most likely hedge on what Bermuda's revised Cruise Ship Policy looks like when it's released in a few weeks.
Overall, as much as I love the Celebrity ships, I found the PP and it's "small ship" experience much more enjoyable for Bermuda.
