It has been a week now since we returned from our Cruise on the Subird. I must say I really enjoyed this Ship. We were on the southern intinary and found it just great.
We had an incident our first day at Sea and had to have the Medical Staff to our room, they very good.., took the indivdual to the hospital on board, while there I had a chance to look around and they have everything required to deal with almost every situation. Our incident did turn out to be okay, but I could not thank the Medical Staff enough for their care.

This ship never seemed crowded there was always somewhere to go and something to do. This ship should be advertised to more of the younger crowd there is lots to do for everyone, Nightclubs, Cabarets etc.. The staff are great. Meals okay.. Time in Port was excellent no rushing to get back a minimum of 8 - 9 hrs each Port some more. Giving lots of time for everyone to do something.

Ship is absolutley spotless, the staff works very hard cleaning etc.. The Captain could dock this Ship anywhere!! I think, there were times he turned this ship around and you did not even realize it.

My opion on this Ship - Excellent Value for the Money - would go again in a second.

Airtous will be very happy to hear from a happy guest. Now if only they sort out the Carousel and Sundream! Not that don't try hard, but these 2 ships are 30 years old in new cruise market. They are just to small to handle 1200 people on sea days. "Theres no place to hide and little to do"

We too are big fans of the Sunbird. We spent two weeks on her in February in on of the suites (9001, Right at the Front!!). To say we were impressed is an understatement. It was that good we are going for two weeks next year again hopefully in the same suite if Airtours fulfill our request!

Like you say it never seemed crowded except for the days at sea when the pool deck got quite crowded but again not over crowded.

The only minor complaint that I have is one that no-one can do anything about is the return crossing from Aruba to Barbados. Really quite rough!
