Hi, we've been back from Voyager for 2 weeks now. We were VERY IMPRESSED overall by the ship and the service that we received! It was quite the sight arriving in Miami to see Voyager towering over the two other ships! We were the 17th sailing, and the first to sell out. We also sailed during the height of Spring Break. Lots and lots of kids and young college students! But the only time you really noticed them were at the pool and occasionally in the Promenade. The food was good, not great, yet not poor. We really enjoyed the service from our waiter and assistant waiter(although, he was still in training, but he really did try his best!) What really upset me was learning that Johnny Rocket's stopped charging for food on the cruise AFTER ours! We liked our inside cabin, very spacious and very quiet. The final jackpot for BINGO got up to $15,000! Four people shared it. I have a review in the works! Thanks for asking!

Wow tonan sounds like an awesome trip. We were on Voyage #2. I won the jackpot bingo on my trip, it was $7400. Sounds like almost everyone played that last game on your trip! They paid me all in cash.

MagnmPI,

What a trip that was for you - maybe you should consider the name "Penny" if its a girl after winning all that money.

I was a celebrity for a day. Everyone around the ship was congatulating me all day until we disembarked. Others would point at us as we walked by them. People at the airport were even shaking my hand or yelling "Bingo!" as I walked by them.

BINGO was a popular game throughout the entire cruise. Even the first game on the Monday filled the entire Cleopatra's Lounge. It was so full all week that they played the final games on the last day in La Scala theatre! And practically the entire main floor of the theatre was full with some more in the balcony!
Congrats to you for winning!

Just read for a test period RCI is eliminating extra costs for all special activities,Ice Skating,Rock Climbing, roller blading, golf and Johnny Rockets.
They said because of negative feedback their doing this.
I wonder if they are sending refunds to those of us who paid? I think that would be the right thing to do.How about it RCI?

Wonderful...Where did you read this? How long do you think a "test period" is? I can't see them receiving much in the way of negative feedback from their guests because they didn't have to pay extra.

MHP I read it on cruisemates.com.
I think if they show all these things to do on the ships and don't mention in their books that there is an extra charge it should be free.

Yeah, it would be nice if those brochures would include the prices of those extra amenities found on cruise ships. Instead they usually have an asterisk(*) next to the activity with a footnote at the bottom of the page saying "minimal fee required" or something like that.
