Just got back sat eve Triumph 7d eastern carib. This was my 2nd and last Carnival cruise.
They realy need to do some serious work on their attitude and actions regarding passenger
complaints. They fouled up 3 out of 4 of the times I had dinner in the dinning room, last
time I bit down into a peice of glass! Ya, glass in my steak! The head waiter and matrede's
response, sorry. That's it. Nothing else, and they had the gall to still expect a tip!
It's too bad, I have discovered a love for cruising, even tho I cann't realy afford it (I'd go
half a dozen times a year if I could !!), and I will be going again but not with Carnival.

P.S. How do you folks afford to go more than once a year? (why fabulously wealthy of
course ha ha.)

How do we afford to cruise more than once a year. The answer is wor very hard (I'm not saying others don't work hard, that would not be true) but we own two businesses which are rather successful and my husband also does consulting. We have very little time to spare so the little we do have we cruise, we take one of the best veranda cabins and do it about 3 times a year. Have just today booked the Ocean Princess Cat AA for end of October. We are on the Voyager end of next week and another cruise in March.

How do we cruise twice a year. Spend the kids inheritance and only do what is necessary to the house. After my husband had his first heart attack, he said "to heck with it, we are going to enjoy life". Well for 18 years he sure did enjoy his cruises - 34 in all.

I cruised twice last year and twice the year before. If I could, I would go three times a year! I have been putting our home improvements aside for four years. I need a new floor in the kitchen . When I priced Pergo, I said . "We can go on a cruise with that money instead"! My sister told me I need to stop cruising for a few years and spend our money on something important. I said "Some people guild their cage, and some fly away from it!

I agree with you all cruising is so addictive if it didn't cost us so much to fly from NZ I would cruise twice a year too. You only live once and you can't take it with you.

I'd do it more often, too, if I knew I didn't need to replace at least one car. Well, one this year is definite. When the other will be replaced depends on how well it holds up over the next 2 years. But I'm hoping on Alaska in 2001.

Go Wall Street!
