Is is just me, or does anyone else think that RCL's application of "Like no vacation in the world" to the sides of the Voyager is terribly tacky?

I agree, it certainly lacks originality or imagination. It would not grab my attention or entice me to pursue further investigation.
Perhaps we should create a new advertisment for them?

Tacky - Tacky -

More suitable for a 'party cruise' junket boat!.
Somehow does not reflect any elegance.

I could not agree more. I am surprised that the CEO's of RCI have agreed to this. To me it just brings the ship down market.

RCI has gone "over the top" with this newest "Las Vegas" style ship. Maybe they are downgrading their appeal to compete with Carnival. I LOVED the Song of America, and the Rhapsody was nice. I will be cruising only on ships that hold 1,500 to 1,800 folks in the future. Zenith, Horizon, Costa Romantica are all very nice and have the feel of a cruise ship, not a city.

No doubt that RCI management was thinking about marketing when they painted that silly motto on the Voyager- but maybe they should have thaught about the many recent cruise mis-haps. (Norwegian Sky running aground, Norwegian Dream collision, Tropical fire). If, heaven forbid, something were to happen to the Voyager can you imagine the PR damage of seeing a distressed ship on CNN or MSNBC, smoke rising from the decks- and then seeing "Like No Vacation On Earth" on the hull. Such things would last in the minds of viewers for years. My guess is that the motto will disappear in a few years at the most.
