Well,
The Disney magic for some people is classidied as a "Mickey Mouse Ship. It's feedback to me is a little over average. But I heard that your meals are not payed for when you pay for your cabin. That means that if that is true than you have to pay for all of your meals at the dinning room. But the cabins look pretty good.

Terry, we were on Disney Magic at the end of April. In a nutshell; the ship is beautiful, the service excellent, the oceaneers club fantastic, and the food is terrible! This is the first cruise that I didn't gain 5-10 pounds. The characters roaming around the ship were great and very accessible. The deck party in Nassau was lots of fun with Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale leading line dances (I guess Capt Mickey was tending to the ship.) We really enjoyed the day at the private island, which was the prettiest one that we'd seen of all the cruise line islands. There didn't seem to be many adult activities though, not many shows, no casino etc. Overall we enjoyed the experience and I think if you have kids, you should try it.

Took the family on the Disney Wonder in March - my advice - keep a close eye on your children. After being assured they would be safe in the Oceaneer's Club, we registered our two youngest boys (6 & 3.5), received a beeper if we needed to be reached for any reason, my husband and I went to sit two decks below to read. About 20 minutes into our time together, we found our 3 1/2 year old son wandering down the stairs by himself. We took him back upstairs to find out what happened and they didn't even know he was gone. So much for SECURITY! Since our return, I've written two letters and made several phones without receiving a response from Disney Cruise Lines on any of them. I guess the safety of my son is the least of their worries.

Hi Terry we are heading out on our first cruise on the Disney Magic on June 16 trip. Is this the same time you are leaving? I have heard great things about this cruise line except, the food. The resturant that is adults only, Palo's get great thumbs up, but you must book as soon as you get on the ship because things get booked very early.

Sorry about what happened to jaxgator son, it makes me unsettled now about my trip. My kids are 6 and 10 so I feel somewhat more comfortable with the kids clubs.

My wife and I (no kids) have been on the Disney Magic twice. Obviously, we liked it.

It's a wonderful cruise for adults that never grew completely up. We loved the shows.

The food was good if you ordered the right thing. (just like any restaurant) Here's a tip. If you're not sure if you'll like something, order two different meals. They don't mind. The only catch is that you need to be through eating when everyone else is. They wait until everyone is done before moving to the next course. Palo's really is good. I'd go just for the bread and dip selection you get while waiting for your meal. Plus it's nice to get a table for two in a romantic setting with no kids around for a night. As soon as you get onboard, get in line for reservations.

The only time I notice a child getting away from anyone was when a little boy went running at full speed down the hall and into the Oceaneer's Club. A mother came running by a few seconds later calling out his name frantically. We told her where he went. The kids seem to love the onboard activities.

Just like any other vacation, if you decide to have a good time, you will.

The Disney Magic is one of our favorite places to be. You'll have a wonderful time!
