My family and I are cruising on the Celebration in Oct. This is my 4th cruise but first with Carnival, I"m a little leary..I've cruised with Princess (Regal & Grand) and they were wonderful. I've also cruised with NCL, it was ok.The only reason we are going on Carnival is the price was too good to pass up.Can anyone tell me about their experience on the Celebration.I haven't heard too many good things about Carnival.

Pam...Thanks I read your review...Was there a good mix of ages, I'm hoping eveyone is not in their 20's and big partiers. There are eight of us going and we are in our 40's & 50's. Our last cruise was on the Princess Grand and I know the two can't be compared. I was talked into this cruise because of the cheap rates. I've always felt you get what you pay for. I will try my best to keep an open mind and have fun.....

In response to Allie, I just returned home yesterday from the Celebration cruise. Please don't be concerned.... you will enjoy yourself. The food presentation is lovely while the quality is merely adequate. Drink prices are high, but I'm sure that's the case with all the ships. My biggest beef was paying $2.50 for a coke. The solution to that was to buy a big coke in Jamaica and keep ice in the cabin. The entertainment is very good and I was impressed with the quality of same. The cruise staff was friendly and they worked hard to keep everyone happy and entertained. Cozumel was everyone's favorite port of call. Note: Be sure to not miss going into "Carlos 'n Charlie's" on Cozumel. It's a bar (upstairs) in the shopping area, and it was full of cruise passengers and a grand time for all !!!! Quite different, to say the least. I will be happy to answer any Celebration questions that anyone may have. Please feel free to e-mail me at Karalargo@AOL.com. This was my 8th cruise, and my boyfriend's first cruise and we are already planning another. It will likely be another Carnival Cruise, of which this was my first.
