Has anyone been on the Seawind Crown in the last 6-7 months? I read the NEGATIVE comments about Premier, but noticed in the Cruise News that they have received an award and some positive recognition. It would seem they are doing something right. The itinerary of the Seawind Crown intrigues me!

I have not been on the Seawind Crown but apparently Premoier chartered her and cancelled several cruises on her (a prospective passenger who reserved a year in advance has been writing about this cancellation in another forum) so I would be careful before I would book with Premier.

Thanks for the warning! Since we haven't seen anything positive about the Seawind Crown, including the postings on cruiseopinion, we've decided to steer clear of this one! Now we're weighing Norwegian vs. Carnival.

I will be able to give you an opinion on Carnival after my cruise on the Sensation 1/31/99 (which I also got at $900 off brochure rates). I have only been on one cruise as an adult, RCL's Song of America last summer to Bermuda. It was wonderful (then again, I got it for a ridiculously low price). The only negative thing I have heard about NCL is they tendency to book large "groups"-like 900 Mexican teenagers celebrating their 15th birthday and not telling other cruise passengers about the group.
